This coffee from William Alexander Becerra’s farm, La Florida located in the Huila region of Colombia represents the very best coffees from this region. While we were roasting this coffee we were overwhelmed by how sweet the aroma is... this is a delicious coffee & we are very excited to share it with you. When we drink this coffee, at the beginning of the experience it has a sweet lemon candy-like acidity that fades into a pear cobbler sweetness & finishes with a lingering flavor that reminds us of maple syrup. It is an extremely interesting cup at the price of a daily drinker. We love this coffee & we know you will too!
William's farm "La Florida" sits on two hectares, 228 kilometers from the Capital of the Magdalena River, among beautiful green mountains, in the municipality of San José de Isnos, Huila; There, 33-year-old William Alexander Becerra, together with his family, grow coffee. For the past five years, William has devoted himself with great effort to working in specialty coffee, but as such, his work and love for the bean was inherited by his parents, who were coffee farmers for all of their lives.
