Here at Peach we LOVE our Colombian coffees. Since opening, La Estrella marks as our sixth featured coffee from Colombia. Each one has been more impressive than the last, and this gem is no different. This coffee is truly exceptional and has such a unique flavor profile that truly will rock your world making it perfect for our Ripe for the Picking series. The La Estrella is a Honeyed Carbonic Maceration process, and on top of that a Gesha varietal. This is not our first gesha, though with this processing it is a first for Peach, and we are more than proud of this coffee.
Even before it’s release was blowing ours & judges minds as we used this coffee to compete in the Atlanta Coffee Fest national cold brew competition & thanks to it’s exceptional quality & a bit of help from our roaster we came in first!
La Estrella is grown on Finca La in Huila, Colombia. The farm is attended by Jairo Ivan Lopez.
