We LOVE Colombian coffees. Since opening, La Bandida marks as our fifth featured coffee from Colombia. Each one has been more impressive than the last, and this gem is no different. True to the name, this coffee stole our hearts like the bandit it is, making our Ripe for the Picking series to reflect our satisfaction. La Bandida is a lactic natural process and Pink Bourbon varietal. Those are both firsts for Peach, and we are excited about the results.
La Bandida is grown on Finca La Bandida in Huila, Colombia. The farm is attended by Andres Guaca. He takes exceptional pride in his picking and sorting practices. For this coffee, the attentional to detail definitely shows. Andres ferments the Pink Bourbon for 65 hours in lactobacilli. He then sun dries the coffee until the moisture content is achieved. It is up to us from there to provide a great cup experience.
