PRODUCT DETAILS
White Grape | Citrus | Spice
People are friendly in the South, so when we met Kula Project as neighbors in Atlanta, it was no surprise they came bearing gifts.
This Coco lot is a fantastic new release from Kula Project, and a delicious reminder that Rwanda has rightfully earned its place among the highest quality specialty coffee producers. It’s a single origin coffee that's both highly approachable and highly intriguing. Bright, fruity white grape leads at the forefront, with delightful flashes of citrus and spice.
This Rwanda coffee presents a delicious, mouth-filling flavor with fruit-forward white grape and citrus with a sweetly spiced finish and pleasant aftertaste. It brews a nicely balanced, delicious cup any time. Our certified Q Graders extract these notes through careful monitoring during the roasting process. With extreme precision, we achieve a balanced medium roast to tamper the acidity and highlight the natural sweetness in these Rwanda beans.
NOTES:
In addition to Kula's efforts, they also have extensive education programs designed to empower women in the community. We are incredibly proud to roast and serve this coffee to our communities.

THE BOTTOM LINE
FACTS ABOUT RWANDA COFFEE BEANS
Grown at an unusually high altitude, Rwandan coffee ripens much more slowly, giving fruits more time to develop a sweeter, juicier flesh.
Most coffees are naturally high in acidity, so we bring it down with a medium roast and increase the sweetness for a more well-balanced and complex cup.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM RWANDA COFFEE
After many years of Civil war and political strife, the small East African nation of Rwanda has established itself as a premiere source for high quality specialty coffee. Coffee from Rwanda is bright and sweet, with a natural acidity that is expertly balanced by our in-house roastmasters.
As certified Q Graders, our team undergoes rigorous training and testing to demonstrate highly attuned awareness of subtle changes in green coffee beans.
